First Day

Up before the sun.  Ready for the day...
My Babe's starting his new job.  His first day!
He knew when it was time to look for a new job...he'd been waiting, watching for the signs.  The company he'd worked for, for 11 good years, wasn't able to get funding.  In this economy, innovative research just isn't as important as production.  He never wavered in his faith that when the time was right, he would find a new job and God would provide the right work/pay/etc.  The day he decided it was time to start looking he found there were no job postings for his profession in this area...Mechanical Engineers aren't in high demand in our little part of the world.  But, just 3 days later there were 3 new job postings...he sent in his resume and 3 days later he had a phone interview.  Then, we waited.  He was asked to come in for a formal interview at 3:00pm on Monday and, exactly 3 weeks from the day he started looking for a job, they offered him the job!  3 weeks.  You just don't get a job suited so perfectly to your talents, with a shorter commute, and good benefits...in only 3 weeks of starting to look!  This was God's providence...He just wanted to make sure we knew He was taking care of the details.  My Babe was willing to wait for the right time, acted when he knew he should, and allowed God to work out the rest.   All those 3's - I could just see God giving the *wink* and a smiling nod...He is so good!
So, My Babe is now employed at Clyde Bergemann Bachmann.  He'll be able to use his abilities as a Mechanical Engineer, and his commute is only 30 minutes now instead of 75 minutes!

Good luck on your first day Babe!

God is SO good.. He always supplies our needs and adds goodness to it [the shorter commute time is evedence of that]. Sending prayers for a wonderful day and may God continue to bless each of you.
