I love your blog and all of your dresses so much! Do you have any advice for a novice dressmaker?
I think the hardest first step is finding your size/shape. Pick a dress pattern, measure yourself, pick some cheap fabric and just start. There's plenty of how-to sites for sewing tips....basically you just have to try something and learn from doing. Don't be afraid to mess up, just have a ripper ready - I use mine ALL the time ; )
