I watched the first episode of All Creatures Great and Small last night after the boys went to bed. I laughed, and I sighed - you know the 'this is just perfect' sigh of contentment - and tomorrow if it's rainy again (like it has been all week) I'll make some hot cocoa for the boys, and a cup of tea for me, and we'll all watch an episode together : )

We have had quite a bit of rain here in our cottage...I guess is it is sweeping upwards towards you. Enjoy watching the shows...perfect for a rainy day :-)

I had to smile when I saw this. I just bought a double volume of James Herriot plus a beautiful copy of a book with actual photography from his life and practice.
We have really been thankful for the rain here, too! And I'm off for our weekly milk and meat....
